The 1st Step University Preschool Program is designed for children who are developing from being toddlers with increased energy and curiosity. Daily lessons and activities strengthen foundational knowledge and understanding in all aspects of learning.
Independent and Cooperative Play
Our teachers create opportunities for children to build confidence and independence. Children begin self-dressing, learning fundamental academics, and taking care of toys. Preschoolers participate in cooperative play and practice identifying their own emotions, as well as empathizing with others.
Step By Step
Preschoolers engage in lessons that focus on self-expression, helping them build essential communication skills. Through a variety of classroom activities, children enhance their fine motor and gross motor development, supporting both their physical and cognitive growth. These structured experiences promote a well-rounded approach to early childhood development, fostering key milestones in language, movement, and social interaction.
What to Expect
Children are gaining more independence and experiencing what they can do all by themselves: going potty, putting on shoes and jackets, communicating with their peers and teachers.
Preschoolers are expanding on what they learned as a toddler. When they were attentive as a toddler, our goal is to improve focused activity for a longer period as a preschooler.
