The 1st Step University Toddler Program is designed to be an interactive experience learning through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills.
Group Experience
Our toddler teachers use their experience develop a daily schedule andestablish a consistent routine that benefits the entire class. Each day is filled with learning activities and an age-appropriate curriculum that supports physical, cognitive, and emotional growth. Teachers actively engage in group play, offering hands-on guidance to help children develop social skills and enhance their emotional awareness.
Learning Pace
Toddlers learn self-expression through new vocabulary and planned activities. Their growing independence is encouraged through adaptive skills, such as washing hands, putting on shoes and jackets. Toddlers begin to develop their sense of self within the community through active involvement.
What to Expect
> Your child is ready for a toddler room when he/she is napping once per day, and is crawling or walking.
> Teachers take ownership over their classrooms, and they tailor their classroom environments and lesson plans to match the needs and interests of the children
> Routine helps every child adjust to the new schedule of a toddler room. At nap-time, children know that lunch is finished, so teachers are setting out cots. Some children immediately find their lovey and fall asleep, others need some peaceful music.
